In this text, the basic principles of the radiation temperature measurement are explained in detail; the principles and characteristics of various radiation thermometries are introduced, and also the operation principle, components and technical parameters of the thermal imaging system. According to the theory of the infrared radiation, through the analysis of basic principles of the temperature measurement in the infrared thermal imaging system, the error formulas of the temperature measurement have been derived, from which we can see that the error is affected by several factors; the factors can affect the accuracy of the temperature measurement, and even the application of the infrared thermal imaging system in some fields, especially when the emissivity is established inaccurately, the effect on the accuracy of the temperature measurement is even larger. In this text, we mainly discuss the influence of the emissivity, and have made experiments to validate the theoretical calculation. Based on the data from the experiments, several curves have been made .From the curves, we can see that the error from the experiments is conformed to the error from the calculation approximately, which has proved that the influence of the emissivity can't be ignored.
