The Design Of Video Analysis System Based On The DSP Develop Platform

Video monitoring and analyzing has important worthiness for researching and applying. It involves many contents in video processing area, and has been widely used in industry,national defense,public security,traffic,bank,marketplace and domicile. This article has the application background of video monitoring and analyzing in one military storehouse, which has the hardware foundation of the DSP developing platform. And it's aimed to analyze the specific information in the video stream. Through local network, the key target is monitored and analyzed safely. On the precondition of meeting basic network bandwidth need and common real time need, precise analysis and automatic judgement is made to the video moving target.Firstly, this article introduced the background,the actuality and the content of the task . Secondly, it presented the TI's DSPs functions,characters and application technology. Thirdly, the hardware platform of the video analysis system was detailed, and the system's whole structure,video decoder,network control module and UARAT control module were gone deep into one by one. Finally, the software design of video analysis was deeply discussed. And the emphases were put on four aspects: one was the conversion from serial to parallel and other was the conversion between luminance and chroma, another was the method of video analysis, and the last one was the network compression technique of video stream.
