Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite navigation system designed to provide instantaneous three-dimensional position information almost anywhere on the globe at any time, and in any weather. It have greatly applied in many areas such as aeronautics, astronautics, marine and other civil fields. Using GPS combined with other navigation methods to form integrated navigation system, has been a stress and a challenging issue in china and other countries in the world. The integrated navigation system for GPS and DR could achieve considerable accuracy and reliability. The research about it has very significant market application value.This paper is composed of two parts. In the first part, the arithmetic of GPS/DR integrated vehicle navigation system is studied. In the second part, the mobile terminal on vehicle is supervised.The study in this paper starts from information fusion of the multi-sensor, a general Kalman filter for GPS/DR integrated navigation system is constructed by incorporating parameter error of the odometer into the state vector. Through analyzing the reasons of the filter divergence and actual solves, this paper applies a fuzzy adaptive controller in the low-cost vehicles GPS/DR integrated navigation system. Through correcting the noise covariance of Kalman filter online, this method helps the filter keep convergent under the condition that there are errors between the object model and actual model or the system is disturbed by outside noise. Compared to the common Kalman filter fuzzy adaptive Kalman filter owns the better performance. The hardware designing of he mobile terminal on vehicle includes: GPS module interface, memory extension, LCD interface, keyboard interface power designing, etc. The terminal's software mainly realizes the following functions: processing the vehicle sensor's data, the design of time synchronization between DR and GPS, LCD...
