With the development of the information technology ,more and more technology has been applied in the education , network is making a difference in all aspects of society . As the important means of development of society production, it's very necessary to make good use of new technology, at the same time, accelerate the development of it.Many educational institutions make use of on-line course to solve practical problems and realize educational arm.As it is said in "about learning" , knowing it is shortage after learning., knowing deficiency after teaching, and then being adamancy. Answering and questioning system is one of most important parts in it. The effects of answering and questioning will affect the on-line course. The study is one of the party of online course of modern education technology. It design and develop multimedia and multi-mode answering and questioning system in on-line course based on the study and analysis the actuality and character of answering and questioning system on-line and integrate technology nowadays.The first part of this issue set forth the actuality and main forms in answering and questioning system. We know about that the most of on-line answering and questioning system in our country are the mode of BBS and e-mail. The conversational mode is unilateralism. We can see that the development of answering and questioning system is later than the development of on-line course. So it is very important to develop the right on-line answering and questioning system for on-line coruse. The second part of this issue is the theory and main research methods in this study. The base of the theory in this study is humanism and metacognition . The main study means is survey study and practice . the main technology in the anwering and questioning system is set forth in the third part. The main technology is ASP,Stream medium and VFW. ASP is applied in website, Stream medium is hot technology, it is applied in transmitted and playing and storage of medium files. VFW is applied in the collection and playing of the video stream. The designing and realizing of the answering and questioning on-line system isin the forth part. The design of database, the realization of mode, at the same time set forth the main program. This system is functional and can be replanted .The last part is the applied matters in practicality.This system is a part of modern education technology on-line course and serve for this course.The development of answering and questioning on-line system is necessary. The hot and mature technology is applied in the system. The multi mode are integrated and unilateralism and multiway are combined. The new integration of education and technology is explored.I hope this issue may drive the study of the answering and questioning system on-line and make the content and form more and more be enriched.
