Research Of Sensor Based On Giant Magnetoimpedance Effect

In this thesis, we reviewed the history of GMI effect;introducedorigin of GMI, the methods of researching GMI effect, the factors toinfluenced on GMI effect, and the noble phenomenon of GMI effect. Amagnetic sensor based on GMI effect is designed in this work. It canmeasure the magnetic field above 2Oe without difference at bothlongitudinal directions of the amorphous ribbon, the field resolvingpower of sensor up to around 0.1Oe. we also designed a current sensorbased on GMI effect, which provided a new way to measure thestronger current in industry and communication technology field.
