The deductive database technology not only extends the query ability of RDB, but also keeps the mathematical basis of RDB. The object-oriented database can provide abundant data models. These two technologies have complementarity, so the combination of deductive database and object-oriented database is surely to be a focus of database domain. It won't be just a simple merging of these two relevant research directions, it also involves basic object-oriented data model, basis of object-oriented database theory, and logic-based query language, process of structured object(complex objectc), and architecture and development of a database .This thesis improves and expands the existing SD-DOOD, appending a kind of complicated data type: set on the base of data model of SD-DOOD; it also support active expression and set expression; exploit further approach for the combination of deductive database and object-oriented database. The main work of this thesis is summarized as follows:1. The syntax and semantic of the DOOL with set and inheritance are introduced and the constraint conditions are illustrated from the point of view of semantic.2.
