| With the establishment of ten millions refinery and completion of a batch of reconstruction project in our company, the communal construction are also extended to ensure plant back way smooth. Due to the data collecting, communication interface and protocol huge discrepancy exist in different automation equipment vendors, it is pretty difficult to collect substrate information. The purpose of this thesis is to seek a feasible method to implement convenient and rapid substrate information collection for oil tank area and provide the collected information to customer to meet their different level requirement.Firstly, the general design of information system for the tank area is presented. The data collecting model of ADAM-5000E series, the principle, structure and hardware connection layout of SAAB radar liquid level meter are introduced in details.Based on deep study of OPC (OLE for Process Control) objective, interface and data access criteria, ADAM-5000 OPC data access server and the data access key technology of radar liquid level meter are discussed. By using Visual C++ as server development tool, server concrete implementation is analyzed from general to details. The customer end software is developed with VB6.0. This enables the system to store the real time data into database and process along with historical data.The client and server programs are designed by using Winsock. And the data exchange is realized through User Datagram Protocol (UDP). Then the substrate information of the tank area can be shared. Client can inquire, review and print real time data as well as historical data via friendly interface. By using powerful Excel function, different level can share different report and then different demand are met. At the same time we can set up different authority for different client and build security control software to guarantee the whole tank area information security.With the successful development of tank area information system, the operator handling is facilitated, the operation safety of the tank area is enhanced. Besides the efficiency of our company production, the levels of information and automation are improved tremendously. |
