As a latest emerging network infrastructure, Grid is the key technologyof the new generation of the Internet. Along with the huge improvement andrapid progress of computer performance and network communicatingtechnology, the development of application demands toward large-scale high-performance, diversity and multi-function needs to connect the varioushigh-performance computing resources, storage, data and other specificresources, which are geographically distributed and heterogeneous, via highspeed network to establish collaborate high-performance computing andsolve huge application problems cooperatively, hence the name wide-areahigh-performance meta computing technology, Grid Computing Technologyas well. One of the important issues of Grid Computing is a Resource-relatedone. The normal resources in Grid are: processing capability, storageresources, directories, network resources, distributed file system, distributedcomputing pool, computing clusters etc. In Grid Computing environment, resources are diverse among different administrative domain at variouslocations, which belong to different organizations and also different in deployand security strategies. Most of the resources are inter-connected via theInternet. The resource operation under this scenario includes the organization, accession, localization, discovery, scheduling, allocation, authentication, andactivities of process-creation as well as all the other activities about itspreparation for resources. The approach to effectively discovering andinquiring resource information through different administrative domainsstands an important sense to the scheduling and execution of Gridapplications. The Dynamic Resource information service plays a decisive role in Gridcomputing environment, which is a fundamental basis. The functions andcharacteristics of the system should contain: having access to static anddynamic resource information of components, being able to arrange andadjust the configurable service according to heterogeneous and dynamicalenvironment, unified effective implementation interface of accessinginformation, extensible accessing to dynamic data, having access to variousresource and mode of administration based on distribution. All the servicesabove have greatly influenced and thoroughly depend on what theinformation providers report to us, such as resource availability, capacity, usage, etc.Meta-computing directory service (MDS) is an extremely importantcomponent in Globus project as part of information infrastructure, whichmainly contains resource discovery, resource description and resourcemonitoring & renewing. Using LDAP as the unified accessing interface ofGrid information, MDS is now able to provide users with such information asthe existing resource information, status information, and optimizedinformation of Grid applications. MDS supports the creation and collection ofVirtual Organizations and represents enormous resources from a standardpoint of view. We can establish the distributed resource information serviceshierarchically under the structure of GIIS/GRIS, which is an LDAP hierarchyone, facilitate the MDS with excellent distributed extensibility. It allowsEffective multi-layer service structure such as hierarchical informationservice, coordinated information service and hybrid one.In Grid Computing environment, the development of efficient Gridresource information service that provides good extensibility, low-cost andabundant accurate information brings practical sense to effective scheduling, delivery and execution of applications in such environment. This article in view of the resources classified realization table ofcontents level multiple resources information server, emphatically optimizesunder the computation grid environment the dynamic resources collectionmethod, reduces the resources information the feedback response time.In analyzes and practices the MDS mechanism in the foundation, introduced in the grid realizes the information service model and the method. And take the laboratory computation grid environment as the example, introduced the realization grid information service method, in detailintroduced technology and so on information registration, information search, information renewal. Has realized under the grid environment the dynamicresources collection and sharing, and completes the information through thesole system image technology the sole image and the effective fusion, hadguaranteed the logical resources physical usability.Current prototype system realization uses the centralized index service, along with the multi-range resources integration, this kind of serviceinevitably can become the performance the bottleneck. Therefore, needs toestablish the distributional table of contents index, and enhances the table ofcontents information service through the multi-indices multi-transcriptionsdistribution the performance. Future will work may further consummate theresources information the classified conformity and the arrangementoptimizes, striking machine . The resources information, simultaneouslyconsummates the resources the construction of data, like resources forecastdata effective use, many kinds of types resources data optimization; In theresources information conformity and in the optimized foundation, carries onthe resources face the first floor resources the further classification, actsaccording to the work type to the different work type modelling at the sametime to the resources arrangement, expands the existing table of contentsservice prototype system through above mechanism .The related standards and specifications of Grid, a newly emergingtechnology, are being established and completed. Dynamic ResourceInformation Service in Computational Grid Environment, functioning as thecornerstone of Grid infrastructure, deserves more applied research andpractice.
