Research On Network Attack Taxonomy And Network Attack System Model

Along with the development of informationlization and network , the living of mankind is more and more depended on the network. The problems of network security became increasingly extrusive. The losses of network attack have lead to the high recognition of all country. The large benefits of network war have led to the competitive study of network attack technology in many countries.In this paper, we analysed the subjective and objective condition of the existence of network attack and point out it is necessary to establish the network attack architecture to study on the network attack because of the status of network attack and the requirement of information war to network attack. The study on classifying the network attack is an important aspect of network attack study filed. The rational classifications provide the important reference value on the design of network attack system. Agent technology is a kind of new distributing computer technology which is being noticed in the field of network technology study. The characters of agent technology determine the special advantages of multi-agent systems in application of large-scale distributed and cross-platform environment. It is a new study direction to apply the Agent technology on the network attack systems. It is very significant to achieve the distribution of network attack, improve the intelligence and robustness of network attack system. This paper carries on the following works:(Ⅰ) Defined the conception of network attack architecture. Given out the framework and constitution of network attack architecture.(Ⅱ) Studied on the taxonomy technology of network attack, basing on the analyzing of all the taxonomy, we given out a network attack taxonomy which is based on the process and purpose of network attack, it is decision-making oriented. This taxonomy is convenient for network attack decision-making(Ⅲ) Described the hierarchical Agent-based network attack system model. In this model the attack entities are classified and designed by the taxonomy of this paper. The hierarchical agent model is convenient for the modularization and miniaturization of network attack entities.
