Study On The Application Method Of Data Mining In Analyzing Technique And Tactics Of Table Tennis Match

Along with the development of information technology and the growing of the amount of data from various fields, Data Mining technology is being developed continually and applied in many fields gradually. Data Mining is a process of extracting valid, previously unknown, comprehensible, and actionable information from large databases. Along with the developing of the information technology, more and more data have been accumulated in the field of athletic sports. It should be a trend that data mining was applied to athletic sports especially oppositional athletic sports data analysis.This paper studies the field of table tennis sports and goes deep into the data mining technology. It illuminates the application of data mining in data analysis of table tennis match. The majority of the paper is summarized here:Firstly, as the academic foundation of the paper, it presents the conception, developing background, research actuality, research content, research method, application and developing trend of data mining.Secondly, the paper specifies the application method and realization process of data mining algorithms in analyzing technique and tactics of table tennis match, which includes association rule analysis algorithm, cluster analysis algorithm and a new algorithm based on Markov process. For association rule algorithm, the paper describes FP-growth algorithm in detail, and provides the realization process and mining results of the algorithm. For cluster algorithm, the paper describes K-Means algorithm in detail, and provides the realization and mining results of the algorithm. The paper goes deep into study the mining method based on Markov process specially. It provides the realization process in detail and the results of it.Thirdly, according to the table tennis skills feature, a script description language is put forward for collecting table tennis match data. The script description language is one of innovation in the paper, and it solves the problem how the large amount of data of the table tennis match is collected.Finally, a data mining system for analysis of technique and tactics of table tennis match is accomplished. The paper describes the architecture, data models and every functional module of the system in detail and presents the testing results of the system.
