Analysis And Study Of Access Control Based On Usage Control Model

With the rapid development and popularization of the technology on computer network, The production and life of the modern society have achieved a large number of great changes, and more and more attention are paid to the problem of information security. The computer access control technology as a very important part of information assurance area has been researched widely and thoroughly. The usage control(UCON) model encompasses traditional access control , trust management, and digital rights management and becomes the next generation of access control. It solves the security and intimity problems in the modem commerce and information system. So this model not only makes a great impetus to the access control technology and the metwork security, but also brings a new commercial mode and life concept.This thesis introduces the usage control mode based on severel access control technologies and their existing problems. It focus on analyzing the modle's working mechanism and the system structure, Then, the main aspects and steps to usage control model are put forward by designing an examaple based on UCON. Finally according to all of above, we can draw the conclusion that the usage control model has the characteristics of integration, security, reality and fesibility.
