With the development of computer and internet technology, Enterprise Information Management System (EIMS) has been put into practice in many manufacture enterprises. But most EIMS are showing such disadvantages as high cost of development and implementation, difficult to maintain, etc. So it is important to get EIMS that has simple process, low cost, higher efficiency and at the same time has higher reusability, expansibility, maintainability.Component technology solves the problem that object strictly relies on a certain programming language and it' s reusing is only based on source code level, and the separation between interface and implement makes system maintenance and replantation much easier. By making use of Distributed Component technology, our system could firstly be built on logical distributed areas, secondly it could decrease the dependency among tiers of the applications and the complexity of developing, deployment and maintenance, and finally it could raise the flexibility, security and performance of the applications and be helpful to team developing.The EIMS requirements analysis and the design of database are completed with UML modeling technology, which inosculates the system' s requirement analysis process and the component-based software development process and pave way for the abstract, development and assembly of components. Then the thesis divides the business layer in the three-tier architecture into another three sublayers and a component model that is more explicit and easier to develop and reuse is constructed. In this component model, the design strategy and method of components in diverse layers are given to complete their corresponding functions. Finally the development, assembly and deploy of components in every layer are finished with C0M+ model to make the whole system run in the client.
