Component-based software engineering changed the software development radically and has been a landmark in the process of software development. It accelerates the bigger granularity to reuse, heightens the rapidity and quantity of software development, and reduces its cost. It takes people cognizance of it is an only way to implement software industrialization and reuse. It is a system engineering to introduce CBSE in a software enterprise or team, how to obtain, accumulate, manage, and evolve reusable resources, it relates the efficiency of software reuse directly. This paper researches this question.Firstly, this paper analyzed the state of this topic, next introduced some basic concepts of software and domain engineering, and the following research fruits: (1) Domain maturity model: there are a close relationship between domain maturity and efficiency of software reuse, the higher level of domain maturity, the higher efficiency of software reuse. The model of domain maturity can be used to evaluate immature domain. (2) The development process model of immature domain: according to model of domain maturity, it is partition to four stages in software reuse. Introduces the model and its supporting tools. (3) Managing reusable resources: when the maturity of immature domain reaches to the third level, the software reuse can turn into the stage of resources evolution. Next, to manage them and this process is one form of reusable resources evolution. (4) Evolution of reusable resources: to evolution reusable resources in future application development. This paper classified them and introduced their way, time, and lifetime of evolution individually. (5) The supporting tools of reusable resources: this paper introduced the tool simply. Finally, it introduced the application of previous research in Web-based information collection system.
