Design And Realization Of The Management Information System Based On Internet

The efficient information management is the important and difficult point of the research on computer technology, so it is challenging to realize an efficient information management in the Internet. On the base of developing and designing Huangshi route management office MIS, this thesis tries to sum up all aspects of MIS based on the Internet. The thesis also brings forward unique viewpoints especially in the aspects of development platform, information exchange and network security.There are three essential elements that insure a set software system running normally: the network security, the reliable hardware and the software structure. "The software structure" means the software platform which can support application software. The software platform include: the operating system, .NET, JAVA, PHP, SOA, XML and the Web service. The MIS based on the Internet discussed in the thesis adopts Browser/Server mode, and uses the Windows 2000 Servers as the operating system, and takes .NET frame as development platform, and uses the Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 as developing tool, and uses the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as the database, and uses XML as a medium of storing and delivering information.The Huangshi route management office MIS is middle-small scaled MIS based on LAN, and has been used in Hubei province Huangshi route management office for nearly one year, and was praised by the customers,In the development project of the Qichun maritime affairs bureau MIS, the development experience and the key technology of the Huangshi route management office MIS were used for reference widely, which sped up the development progress greatly and gained good results. Based on the Huangshi route management office MIS, this thesis sums up the key technologies used in the MIS based on the Internet, which can expand MIS from LAN to the Internet.The development of the economy and the progress of the society make MIS based on the Internet have extensive development prospects. But it also faces many difficulties certainly. The security and more efficient information search are twooutstanding aspects among them and are desired to be solved urgently.All in all, this thesis provides the essential theoretic support and efficient solution for the development of MIS based n the Internet, and puts forward some unique viewpoints about the development of the MIS in the Internet realm.
