With the development of the city, the Control of traffic noise has been an important part of city environmental protection problems. And vehicle noise is the main source of traffic noise. When cars are at speeds above 70km/h, tread pattern noise becomes the dominant source of noise. Therefore, the research on tread pattern noise control not only has far-reaching theoretical importance, but also has abundant practical value.Firstly this paper analyzes the sound mechanism and the simulation model of tread pattern noise, the two aspects are the theory precondition of designing tread pattern. And then I dissertate the computer simulation method and the comprehensive evaluation of noise spectrum, the comprehensive evaluation is a objective method and also the gist of we judge the noise in the environment of computer.Whereafter I pay more emphases on the simulation and analysis model of multi-pattern, the basic cell of multi-pattern are the individual block and the individual slot, and the block and the slot form a pattern, so the noise the individual pattern is composed of the noise of multi-pattern. Thereby the study focus on the mathematic description to time wave of the individual block and the individual slot.Follow, I analyze and summarize the criterion of noise-reduction design, the criterion offer a method instruct to the design of a entireness tread of low noise ,the method pays attention to the practical application.According to the systemic study to the some aspects of tread pattern noise, I makeup the design software of low noise tread based on elementary multi-pattern. The core of the software are the design method of multi-pattern and the simulation of pattern shift. Because different combinations of structure parameters are able to describe the tread pattern, so the software offer two methods to designing multi-pattern. Putting relevant structure parameter of tread pattern, the software is able to create multi-pattern quickly and automatically, and deftly take to time area analysis, frequency area analysis and comprehensive evaluation. Pattern shift is the dominating factor of multi-pattern noise effect. the reasonable shift can make noise center energy of time area average, so reduce the total noise peak value of tread pattern. According to comparing to evaluation index of pattern shift in the software, we are able to find out the pattern satisfied by the noise criterion.In the paper I take the pattern shift to simulate and analyze, and offer the experiment result. As a result of research, we validate the rationality and reliability ofthe structure parameters of Low-noise Tread Pattern, also the correctness of the theory about pattern shift. The software worth to apply and extend in Tread engineering field.
