Netmeeting is a real time meeting resolution for intelligentize cooperating office ,it transports information such as audio, video, images and files to realize virtual meeting face to face by telecommunication。 Netmeeting is applied widely in many ways with the development of network and multimedia。 Voice is the primary carrier of the content and the basal means ways of the communication in netmeeting。 As one of the most primary and key technologies, audio phonetics takes effect on the netmeeting development。This paper analyzes and compares the audio quality, the size of data packets, the real time and the endpoint detection for audio codec by introducing the latest research and development level and application outlook and analyzing the problems of audio and multimedia data transport in the field of netmeetingo The author analyzes the technology feasibility of audio and network in theory under Windows , researches audio sample, play, codec in detail, develops and implements an applied real time audio SDK RealAudio with VC and Multimedia Audio SDK on the above, uses User Datagram Protocol to program and develop a real time data transport SDK DataChannel by researching the lossless and the delay of multimedia data transport。This paper brings forward and constructs a netmeeting platform to transport and control audio according to the achievement of theory , algorithms and software test 。 The platform is used to carry out a netmeeting design scheme, which builds a real time meeting system by adopting the B/S model to manage meeting and the C/S model to transport data stream, develops a real audio meeting software with VC and ASP that succeed to debug and run on Windows 。...
