FCS (Fieldbus Control System) is an open system network, as well as a fully distributed control system. FCS, qua contact tie of fieldbus equipment, can link with Internet and Intranet, and join the fieldbus equipment as network system. Actually, the equipment is regarded as network node of fieldbus. Moreover, FCS forms the automated system further, and realizes comprehensive function of data collecting, monitoring, controlling, optimizing etc.The fieldbus is various in styles at present and applied widely in different fields individual. No kinds of filedbus can be totally suitable for all applications. Thus the situation that many kinds of fieldbus coexist will exist in a very long time. Various kinds of fieldbus products are unable to realize mutual operation and cooperating work because of difference of the protocol. In this way, it hinders users' choice seriously. Therefore multifieldbus integration already becomes the inevitable trend.OPC, namely OLE for Process Control, is OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) applied for process control. OPC standard is enacted by OPC foundation and developed by the application software. That's industrial standard including interface, method and attribute. It is applied in process control and manufacturing industry automation. Withal, its foundation is OLE, COM/DCOM technology of Microsoft. Since OPC standard is proposed, the solution in the problem of multifieldbus integration appeared at last. Through adopting OPC technology, every fieldbus can realize information sharing and seamless integration, as well as Plug & Play of fieldbus equipment. The mutual operation and adaptability of multifieldbus is enhanced greatly.This research starts with actual demand and characteristic of the fieldbus control system. Afterwards selecting three kinds of fieldbus, that is DeviceNet, LonWorks and ProFiBus, to do research on fieldbus control system. The goal is to realize information integration and mutual operation of multifieldbus with OPC technology. It provides the structure block diagram of multifieldbus control system based on OPC technology, and analyses the function and work flow of the system. Then, it mainly research on the realization method of DeviceNet fieldbus control system with OPC technology. Furthermore, do the discussion of three parts separately, that is database subsystem,local monitor & control subsystem, and remote monitor & control subsystem.Through adopting OPC technology, the research offers a feasible solution for realization and optimization of information integration of multifieldbus control system. It helps users to cooperate mutually in different places. Withal, it has expanded the application realm of fieldbus greatly, and complies with the development trend of the fieldbus control system.
