Tilt measuring is an expertise that can be used in making sure the incline of the spatial objects. This technology may be applied in many aspects, such as inertia measuring system of spacecraft, incline measuring of vehicle and hull,contrail detecting of broach. Tilt sensor of accelerometer applied in diverse fields, such as navigation craft, monitor of machine. The tilt sensor of Multi-axis accelerometer is applied in many projects. There is a lot of methods used in signal processing part of measuring circuit back end. The signal processing of tilt sensor can be implemented by using FPGA.The research of this paper concerns that signal of tilt sensor are transformed by A/D and be inputted into FPGA employer board. The module of FPGA includes module of port, module of arithmetic operation element etc. The signal of tilt sensor in the measuring process can be calculated by establishing mathematical model. The signal of sensor is inputed into FPGA while value of pitching angle 9 and roll angle γ are outputed. The advantages of method used in this project can deal real-time measured value of tilt sensor. The technology used in this paper is includes as follows: design flow of FPGA, EDA tools, design language, comparison of hardware arithmetic.The interior designs concerns top-down modules design of system and integrate of whole module, establish of mathematical model for signal processing and coordinate axis system for measurement of tilt sensor. Distinct arithmetic is used for different arithmetic module. Booth's algorithm is used in multiplication module;CORDIC algorithm is used in module of trigonometric function and square. Analyzing the initial value of CORDIC algorithm for implementing diverse function and precision effect of iterations. Also optimize iterative fabrication of this algorithm. It's obviously that CORDIC algorithm is proceed over those numerical technique. The UART module including shift -parallel and parallel-shift is designed according to demand of this project. The overall design of signal processing of whole module is finished;the precision of output value is analyzed.
