With the development of computer and city track transportation, simulating metro ATS system with computer is need in many fields. But if develop a ATS simulation system for each metro line, there will be a lot of repeated work, and lot of software resource can't be reused. This paper is to resovle the reuse problem based on the concept of software development with component. Combining the technology of component and ATS simulation, it will build up a platform, on which the user can develop a ATS simulation system just by assembling component. This paper introduces the characteristics of metro ATS simulation system and interprets the technology of software development based on components, including Object-orient, reuse of software and CBSD. The author pays more attention on the design and implement of ATS simulation system interactive develop platform (ASSIDP). Considering the goal of development and requirement of functions, ASSIDP can be divided into four parts. Management of component and component repository is ASSIDP's base;Framework of simulation is ASSIDP's kernel, and it's the engine make component work together for simulation;Creation of site-data provides kinds of intelligent functions for user, reduces the load of user. GUI simplifies user's work. The author analyses and specialises the design of software structure, the functions of module and the critical technology and method that was involved. After that this paper introduces a prototype of ASSIDP implemented by the author and its application in the development of ATS simulation system in Shanghai No.3 line.In the finality, it's a summary of entire paper and the problems requiring further studies are discussed.
