Peer-to-Peer network breaks down the traditional applicationmodel------Client/Server, and leads the network calculate model fromcentralization to distribution. Peer-to-Peer network exploits vacant compute ability and available resource of each node on the network. It raises the share action on the Internet to a higher level, and has great advantage. It is a precondition of achieving cooperation and resource share that how to implement resource location within a wide scale. Nowadays, the nearest research is the distribution find and route arithmetic based on DHT(distribution hash table). Chord is a representative and important one. Chord is a distribution system entirely, it is extensible, and can implement load-balance. Node can join and leave dynamically in Chord. Due to these good characters, Chord attracts many researchers' interesting. This article studied the Chord system and presented some improvement. Such as, we set up a bi-directional adjacency connection among nodes so as to adapt the nodes' dynamic act, which decreases the cost of updating the finger table periodically, and meanwhile increase the find efficiency and dependability. In addition, application-layer multicast is an alternative substitute of IP multicast before it is used widely. Both Application-layermulticast and P2P network belong to the overlay network field. They are two relative topics. This article present an application-layer multicast scheme based on Chord system. And we proved its feasibility by simulator program.
