Research On The Distributed Multi-station TDOA Location Systems

The TDOA location technology has many advantages such as long detected distance, more better security, uneasy to disturb compared to active location. As the developments in measurement and signal-processing technology, the TDOA location technology is playing a more and more important role in electronic warfare. Based on the configuration of the receiving-stations, it is studied the theories and accuracy about the TDOA location in this passage. It is also studied the Two methods of time difference examining: one method based on the signal synchronization and another method based on the time synchronization. Signal-correlating arithmetic is discussed in the method of signal synchronization, and time synchronization technologies are discussed in the method of time synchronization. All the discussions are based on the real engineering of distributed multi-station TDOA system and has some actual value in some extent.
