Research On Algorithm Of Remote Sensing Image Mosaics

Image mosics is widely used to get the big pictures and realize the formulation of panorama.Firstly, The paper introduced several common methods of image mosics including image registration and image fusion; Then, according to the characteristics of the remote sensing image, image registration is done on both translated and rotated cases; finally the grey in the image's overlapped area was fused in order to get a better visual effect.In the process of Image registration, firstly the translated images were registered by the methods of block matching,ratio,and phase correlation. Additionally, their characteristics were also analyzed. Secondly, on the basis of block matching method,pyramidal algorithm and polar coordinate mapping method, Haralick inclined plane method was proposed. These four method are all used to register the images which are not only translated ,but also rotated. Their characteristics were analyzed respectively according to the result of image registration.Finally, in the overlapped area , according to the visual sensitivity of the grey level, An algorithm was used to get a better visual effect and the image fusion was realized in two-dimensional direction.
