With the development of modern society,the requirement for the communications system is becoming more and more urgent. Data transmission in wireless channels with high speed and reliability is goal in future wireless communications systems. In recent years, the multicarrier CDMA communication and the Ultra-wideband (UWB) communication technology obtained people's widespread attention, and has caused the research upsurge. This article has mainly studied the sequence design and application in the wideband communications system. It presents the correlation theory and theoretical bounds in sequences design, and implements several kinds of sequences production procedure. Then it introduces the multicarrier CDMA communication technique and study sequence application in MC-CDMA. One kind of method to analysis bit error rate (BER) performance is presented and the influence to BER rate with different sequences is compared. Finally, it introduces UWB technique and presents a method to construct ternary complementary set. Based on these, the author applies ternary complementary to UWB, and analysis the system performance through simulation.
