The Study Of The Address Code Used In CDMA Spreading Spectrum Communication System

Along with the 3rd generation mobile communication system develops from the investigation phase to the actual business using phase, the technique standard of 3G is a focus of researching in various countries. As the core technology of 3G, CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access ) is much more the focus. The paper studies the technology of the address code of CDMA communication system. Thereinto including analysis and discussion of the way of generation and correlation characteristic of spreading spectrum sequences used in 3G system.In this paper, it firstly briefly introduces the address code stated in the 3 standards of 3G communication system (WCDMA in Europe, cdma2000 in USA, and TD-SCDMA in China);and then discusses the methods of generation and correlation characteristic of m Sequences, Gold Sequences, M Sequences and the multiplex sequences structured by Walsh Sequences and Gold/M Sequences respectively. Designs and gives forward the MATLAB programs of creating and arithmetic of correlation function of the sequences enumerated;and after making use of a mass of data and figures got by MATLAB programs to analyses the characteristic of generation and correlation of each sequence mentioned above, brings forward some pertinent useful conclusions. Puts forward the applicable qualification and improved methods of calculating correlation function by using Cyclotomic Coset and generate balanced Gold Sequences in hardware ways based on validating and analyzing again and again. At last it combines the address code used in the actual CDMA communication system to study and compare the way of the generation and the correlation characteristic of the multiplex sequences, and gets some disciplinarian and specialty in their correlation functions. The paper validates all the conclusions by MATLAB. The result shows that the improved methods and the correlative conclusions brought forward in the paper are right.
