Research Of VPN Security Gateway Based On LINUX

This thesis firstly introduced the concept of the VPN, integrating with the VPN development actuality, put forward to the research of theory sense and actually application value. Then introduce the principle of VPN, the main technique about virtual private network, its advantages and disadvantages, the IPSEC system structure and Realization method of the VPN. Overall analysis and compare with the current technique of IPSEC ,Studied the implement structure of the general safe gateway at the same time, Bring out a solution of the safe gateway of VPN based on the operating system of LINUX according to the principal of security and high efficiencies, it is that increasing the firewall module and NAT module into the IPSEC and IP module, and merged into the micro operation system which ordered based on LINUX, simulation with the software of OPNET at last.
