Research Of LAN Authentication Based On One-Time Password

With the fast development of computer network,the safe problem in network becomes more and more important. Authentication is an important part in the network security. It can prevent illegal user from accessing network. The article makes a profound study on the principle and realization of the authentication method of One-Time Password and analyses the security of the method and points out the weakness of it. The article presents a new authentication method which integrates the advantages of the Kerberos system and utilize RSA encryption algorithm, MD5 algorithm and DES encryption algorithm.This method can realize bidirectional authentication and can prevent small number attack. The article explicates the method to realize it and analyses its security.
