Video communication is indispensable to economic life of the information society. The key technology to video conference television is video conference image signal processing. This thesis, applying compression algorithms in the research, realizes the image compression of H823 based on IP network through hardware method, which enables the data to transmit safely through IP network by using VPN technology.The essay introduces a scheme of image random encryption and real-time transfer based on m-serial. The phase function, constructed by m-serial, compresses the data volume of encryption key greatly, which makes a much more convenient transfer of the encryption key, as well as an easy color image encryption through improvement on the original foundation. The compressed encrypted image data could be transferred real time through VPN secure tunnel, and then be decrypted at the receiving port. Having been investigated by the author, the method turned out to be feasible for practical applications.
