The infrared focus plane array device is a new generational infrared detector which has the function of both radiate sensitivity and signal process. The imaging system with IRFPA has many advantages such as: the reform from optical and mechanical imaging to electrical signal process imaging is achieved; The cubage, quality and power of imaging system are greatly reduced; The area of speciality involved by system is limited, the mechanical complexity is greatly reduced and reliability is observably improved. The frequency of frame in system is very high, so delay of information is greatly reduced and this is adapt the requirement of obtaining image information in high speed and ultra-high speed guided missile weaponry system. The sensitivity of system is greatly improved, SNR can theoretically be increased N1/2 times, where N is the amount of detector. Because the pretreatment circuit (export circuit, such as CCD memory, CMOS multi-channel transmission device and so on) is encapsulated on chip, the amount of signal wire is effectively decreased, so the condition of process for the whole detector is greatly predigested and the reliability of system is observably improved. Because of those advantage, the IRFPA is widely used in both military and civilian. But the nonuniformity is a difficulty in application of IRFPA. This thesis is begin with the development of IRFPA in both foreign and domestic. The basic structure and working principle of IRFPA device is expounded. The study of the method for IRFPA nonuniformity correction is emphases. A method for IRFPA nonuniformity correction using DSP is developed with modern digital signal process technology. The nonuniformity of 32×32 uncooled IRFPA device's output signal is corrected. The 32×32 uncooled IRFPA device is the production of our own lab. The hardware system is TMSC6711DSP imaging process system. The nonuniformity correction of 32×32 uncooled IRFPA device's output signal is achieved by studying the method of nonuniformity correction and programming DSP process program. The whole thesis is formed by five chapters: the development of IRFPA in both foreign and domestic and the basic structure and working principle of IRFPA device is expounded in the first chapter; IRFPA nonuniformity and method of correction are emphasized in chapter tow; The modern digital signal process technology and the DSP hardware used in this design are introduced in chapter three. The program for nonuniformity correction is discussed in chapter four; The last chapter is the summarization of the whole thesis.
