The difference between the electronic commerce Web station and the common Web station is that the former is "commerce"Web station. The purpose to establish the electronic commerce Web station is to obtain the potential economic profit. On the base of studying the electronic Web station application, the thinking of considering the user's accessing speed and the strategy of performance optimization inclining to the user are brought forward. The existing technologies are applied to the process of Web station design on this base. Through the research of the performance of the electronic commerce Web station, the two aspects of problems influencing the Web station accessing speed are discussed: Web server configuration and database server accessing speed. Regarding Web server configuration, and to enhance the electronic commerce Web station accessing performance, some measured can adopted: more memory and more CPU time distributed to Web server, higher frequency CPU adopted or more CPU adopted. And it is pointed that it should incline to the user accessing performance when weighing the contradiction existing between the Web station performance and the financing. To improve the database server accessing performance, the database structure design and the database accessing are studied. As to database structure design, the method that store the important and high-frequency access data through merging several tables to one tables and combined with temporary table and the method that integer key is applied are brought forward. The experiment indicates that the database accessing speed is improved by adopting the above methods. As to database accessing design, some methods are adopted: creating indexes on the high-frequency accessed columns, adopting store processes, store the most high-frequency accessed data into the memory, and so on.
