Along with the development of network technology, remote education has been developed and popularized rapidly. It is an important task to solve urgently how to construct a new mode of studying, which is very conventional and not restricted by place and time. The wide-range application of modern network-based instruction system stands out the learner's main body role in the activities of teaching and learning on the net. As a representation of modern education, web-based instruction, which optimized the educational resources and reformed the traditional education ideas and techniques, has been the trend of the modern education. Web-based instruction can't actualize very well without an efficient management platform. It is a urgent demand to construct a web-based instruction system based on web.This paper was done a great deal of the most useful research into the theme, four parts as follows:The first part deliberates the characteristic of the web-based instruction system and analyses the present status of national and international in details. Then it discusses the tendency in the web-based instruction system, and compares the three leading distributed technical standards. At last, the idea that applies the J2EE technology in developing the web-based multi-tier distributed instruction system is mentioned.In the second part, different common key techniques about J2EE technology are discussed in details. After compared the J2EE technique with .NET technique, which are the two mainstream techniques in current world, it summarizes the advantages of the J2EE technology. Besides, the architecture aimed at J2EE is studied in depth. Especially, detailed discussion given to the typical J2EE application mode configuration, which including the client layer, the Web layer, the operation layer and the EIS layer. The application of the J2EE to Web is expounded in depth. By Compared and contrasted the characteristics of two-double architecture and multi-tier structure, it analyzes the exploitedmethod based on the groupware, and the J2EE technology provides web application system with various function supports also is manifested. At last explores several principles should be followed during the process of exploits J2EE application.In the third part, the characteristics of C/S structure and the B/S structure are analyzed in details, at the same time, the contrasts between them also are studied. Based on above, it put forward exploit a teaching management system through internet by introduced internet applications system, that is a seamless combination of the C/S structure and the B/S structure, and recounts the process that the MVC method helped achieve the development of systematic structure. Besides, it studies the database Connection Pool technology aimed the J2EE, analyzes the characteristics of its. And the differences between the database Connection Pool technology and the traditional database technology are revealed. At last presents using the database Connection Pool technology processes the batch data accessing in network, and exhibits the whole processing that to achieve the connection pool. Compared and researched SQL Server and Oracle, exhibits the whole processing that to achieve the conjunction of SQL Server by the J2EE technology.At last, the instruments of system development and system modeling are demonstrated deeply in this part, and the programming of system total data is introduced. Based on above, illustrates lively a set of wholly system design object and system instruct pattern, designs a teaching system based on Web.
