Abstract/Summary:
Since we formally applied the System of GSM in 1991 in our country, the number of the users of GSM is increasing rapidly every year. The rapid increase in both amount of users and portfolio made it promising for the development of GSM. The amount of users using mobile phone is increasing rapidly in our country. The development of incremental business in communication network of GSM is one of the means for the companies to make use of the potential of network, increase income of business and improve the quality of services. As a data bearing mode, SMS cann't compare with GPRS , an high speed data mode, but it has many other advantages . For example, SMS doesn't adopt real time connection, take no business channel, transmit data packets through the special channel. It's cheap, effective and practical. All of these advantages make it reasonable and accepted by the companies and users. The companies that running the mobile communication business expand their businesses in market and obtain enormous social benefits and economic benefits. With the enormous leaps in amount of SMS, it requires more efforts in the running and maintaining for the center of SMS. The center of SMS only provided query operation to the target users whose mobile phones used the communication network provided by CNC before, but they couldn't obtain the exact contents of the message. When the companies deal with the complaints over the services filed by the customers, the companies need to have an query operation with the information of the target user and the time , so that they can find the problem effectively. At present, the query operation with the information of the target user can't meet the companies'need. So, the query operation to the messages for the person who makes the call is very necessary. A complete system of query operation to SMS is developed based on the need of the companies. We design and accomplish the following functions for the system: 1. Maintenance to the messages with the index of both caller's number and receiver's number. The index server of the subsystem of the query operation to the information of callers will index the message into the database when the server receives the information that the business processor sends the message successfully. All the informations that are indexed into the database include : the order number of the message , the caller's phone number, the receiver's phone number ,the submitting time and so on. At the same time, the system will establish and maintain the index of both caller's number and receiver's number. 2. Query operation to the messages with caller's number or receiver's number. The system provides the query function with the caller's number and the receiver's number to the users. It also supports the query operation to the number which was received by ESME. It supports the query operation with area code , time quantum (starting time ,terminal time), whole time , status , reason for mistake and so on. 3. Deleting the message: It may delete all the messages or part of the messages of the target user. 4. Ordering messages: This function may order the messages with sort ascending or sort descending. It also can choose multi fields to order the table of messages. 5. Output of files: It outputs the result of query in the form of EXCEL . 6. Receiving messages from the processor and transmitting the messages to the server which monitor the unuseful messages. In a message center with a subsystem of query operation to the information of callers, the information of sending a messsage will be transmitted to the Index Server of the subsystem from the business processor; then, from the Index Server to the Business Processor, and at the same time, the Index server receives the information whether the caller's authority is available from the Business Processor, and maintains the index of successful messages. The system is designed and developed with advanced technologies. At present, the whole system is applied in the communication network of CNC and has achieved good result. It is accurate and effective. When the companies deal with the complaints of customers , they can find out the problems rapidly and effectively by query operation with the information of target user or the information of initiated user and time.
