Study Of Application Of Security Access Control Mechanism In Product Data Management

Product Data Management (PDM) is an integrate management technique based on software technology and focused on product which fulfills the integration of product-related data, process and recources. Since PDM covers all the life-cycle information of production and carries the security data of enterprise, the security analysis and research of it is of great importance.This dissertation firstly analyzes the current problems of security in PDM, put forward a feasible method of the control of safty access through authentication and access control. Followed by, the dissertation introduces some of the familiar methods of authentication; analyzes and studies the principles, strategies and the weakness of them and compares them in details with emphasis on the model of RBAC (Role-based Access Control); presents the structrue of this model and shows the merits of it. In the end, this dissertation focuses on the selection, optimization and application of strategies of authentication and access control with the idea of OTP (one time password). It improves the solution of hidden problems of security of OTP combining with the system of symmetric Ciphers to achieve didirection authentication applies RBAC and introduces the method of dynamic management the roles to better meet the actual requirement of enterprise. Based on this, the dissertation develops a model of access control including the module of authentication and module of access control to achieve the security access control in PDM.
