Design And Realization Of Web-based Personalized Learning System

With the development of network technology and the demand of learningsocialization, learning on web is becoming an important trend of distance learning.Nevertheless, in the traditional web-based instruction system, without the fullconsideration of user's requirements and individualities, the system self is centric,learners have to adapt to the system instead of adapted by the system. This kind ofsystem doesn't carry out instructions according to people's learning rule, resulting inthe poor interaction and bad learning effects.Web-based personalized learning systemis an effective method to solve the contradicts between the individualization ofstudent's demand and the simplifying of teaching resources.In order to realize theModern Distance Education of real individualization and guarantee the teachingquality,we must construct the web-based personalized learning system.This paper discusses the meaning of personalized learning and personalizedModern Distance Education,and analyzes the personalized demands of learners;Direct against the questions that the existing network learning system exists,relevanttheories,designing and realizing strategies of web-based personalized learning systemare studies.On the basis of the above-mentioned research,taking network course of "multimedia technology " as an example,a web-based personalized learning system isconstructed to meet the learner's individualized demands.The last chapter of this thesis looks forward to the prospective research directionof web-based personalized learning system,and proposes some further improvementideas about the development of the system.
