Along with 3G time arrival, the increment service is continually growing. From theold ShenZhouXing service to the new Mobile Zone service and the Color Ringservice, The increment service not only provide flexible choice and brand-newexperience for the users ,but also bring considerable income to the networkoperators and the equipment providers. Most of these mobile communicationincrement services are implemented by the mobile intelligent network. The mobileintelligent network is pivotal in current communication network;it heads the list ofsuccessful candidates in all kinds of the technologies which provides the incrementservice. It can be said that, does not have the intelligent network, does not havetoday's all-flowers-blooming-together increment service.With the development of the mobile intelligent network to the 3G stage, it isimpossible not to raise the CAMEL4(Customized Application for Mobile NetworkEnhanced Logic 4),The CAMEL4 is proposed by the 3GPP organization, it is thenew generation of mobile intelligent network architecture which separates bearfrom control to adapt to the 3G character and satisfies the increased demands ofservice. It dose not like the CAMEL2/CAMEL3 which only enrich and enhance theoperation, it absolutely changes the network system architecture. It increased a newlayer in the CAMEL architecture called Call Segment Association (CSA). This newlayer carries on the lamination management of Call Segment (CS) which is the onlylayer before. This kind of network character provide a new conversation patternwhich is more similar to the multi-people converses on the telephone than thetraditional two people converses on the telephone. The result of new layerarchitecture causes the proposition of CPH reasonably.This paper mainly discusses the analysis and realization of Call PartyHandling (CPH) character in CAMEL4.The analysis of CPH character in CAMEL4 is based on two main TechnicalSpecification 3GPP TS 23.078 and 3GPP TS 29.078. 3GPP TS 23.078 mainlyspecifies the procedures for CAMEL4, the concrete description of Informationflows, the preconditions of operation, the postconditions of operation, and theBCSM state transitions. 3GPP TS 29.078 mainly specifies the encoding anddecoding of CAP operation, the type of parameters, the dialogue primitives and thecomponent primitives. The realization of CPH character in CAMEL4 mainlyrelates to CSA and FEAM (Function Entity Adapt Module) which are two logicmodules on some soft switch system.The CSA module in detail described concrete realization of CPH character,from data structure design, algorithm design, flow chart design, to pseudocoderealization. The concept of CSA (Call Segment Association) first appears inCAMEL4. In CAMEL4 the original gsmSSF is divided into two logical entities:CSA_gsmSSF and CS_gsmSSF. In the multi-CS situation, many CS are controlledby only one CSA, and. many legs are controlled by CS1.In CAMEL4 a new call isestablished through operation ICA, it is called NC(New Call) and a new party isestablished through operation ICA in an intelligent relationship , it is calledNP(New Party). When the alerting or the answer signaling arrives, we need tomove these users to the same CS so that they can have a talk. This needs the MoveLeg operation. If we want to separate a user from a conversation in order to dosome process, we need the Split Leg operation. The Move Leg operation and theSplit operation are the main operations in the realization of CPH character inCAMEL4.With the CPH character network operators may fast provide many kindsof services, such as the MPTY service and the Color Ring service. These serviceshave not realized before in the present intelligent network, so we have alreadyapplied for the patent or we are applying for the patent. Writing about theseservices in this paper is mainly for the goal that the earlier network operatorscontact new thing, the easier they can apply them.The FEAM module mainly completes the adapter function between protocols.Specifically it must guarantee the communication between network entitiessuccessfully conforming to Signaling System No.7 (SS7). So FEAM needs totransform our interior data structure to the standard CAP protocol structure.Actually this is a difficult and careful work.During the coding process of the CSA module, I have proposed the bearinformation acquisition and bear type determination algorithm all by myself. TheCAMEL4 must be implemented on some soft switch system which demands thebear separated from the signaling control, but the bear operations are not defined bythe protocols. The algorithm that I have proposed solves this conflict. It also makesthe bear operations clearer, the code structure more legible, maintains and revisesmore convenient. It also helps the performance of the program.During the writing period of this paper, The quantity of effective codeachieved 20,000 lines. The requirement, analysis and design documents finallyaccumulate more than 1,000 pages. Because of the company security, the code inthis paper has already been processed, and it shows in pseudocode. But I don'tthink this can influence the demonstration of CPH character.This paper finally produces a test case of the China Telecom entering networkqualification test. Many domestic and foreign well-known telecommunicationequipment manufacturers have also participated in China Telecom's test includingour company. In the competition test our test result was gratifying. All of the 500test cases have passed the test completely, and we have completed the accessionalservice flow tests. It was the affirmation of our work, and it is also the confirmationof the paper result.Because the soft and hard environment in our university can not satisfy theapplication program, we can not see the eventual effect of the program with ourown eyes. But it is believed that in the near future the codes which are running inthe switch will be running in national even in the world communication networkproviding users with better richer and newer experiences!...
