Digital watermarking technique is a new method for copyright protection, which has become a hotspot in multimedia information security research. In this paper, an overall review on the digital watermarking technique is made in details, including the general framework, characteristics, and classifications, and the typical spatial domain algorithm and transform domain algorithm are analyzed, then a new scheme of defending against PE viruses based on the space domain LSB algorithm is presented, and a robust watermarking scheme is given. The followings are our contributions:1. PE viruses are executable file viruses in Windows-based environment, still hold rank on the list of prevalent viruses. The LSB algorithm can embed large amounts of data, and extract them exactly, at the same time this algorithm is simple and easy to be implemented, and the PE file format and the PE viruses are analyzed detailedly, then a new scheme, embedding the PE file header to the host carrier bit for defending against PE viruses, is presented.2. A new robust watermarking scheme based on DWT domain is proposed. In this scheme, the same watermark is embedded to the high-pass bands of the wavelet transform and the low-pass bands of the wavelet transform, respectively using the spread spectrum technology and the quantized index modulation technology. Specially, the quantized index modulation technology is performed by encoding each watermark into a set of low-pass bands coefficients. Also this quantized method integrates the human visual system characteristics. Experimental results show that the proposed watermarking algorithm is robust to a wide range of image distortions. |
