Design And Implementation Of An Active Replenishment System Base On Multilevel Stock-to-Sales Ratio Control

Design and implementation of an enterprise information system is complicated system engineering, even its success or failure may be not under our control. Enterprise architecture, especially data architecture, must be analyzed and designed carefully, so that all systems in an enterprise can be integrated;otherwise information islands will come into being, and enterprise information systems must be adapted to business processes. Sales and marketing are core business processes for an enterprise, so sales management systems must meet higher level requirements.Supply chain management is the base theory of sales and marketing business, and emphasizes reciprocity and collaboration of suppliers and dealers. The nicer relationships between Zhejiang Cigarettes Industrial Corporation and other commercial companies in province are the most important factors of success of the sales management system we developed, main idea of which is vendor managed inventory.Achieving business refinement and software elaboration is the uppermost point of information system engineering, so how to construct an applied refining MIS from complicated marketing business is one of our main goals. In this thesis, we analyzed the architecture of existing information systems of Zhejiang Cigarettes Industrial Corporation, and analyzed characteristic of its sales business;studied a few inventory control methods, and established a multilevel stock-to-sales ratio control system, adapted vendor managed inventory and two inventory control policies, then presented a control policies using active consignment;built a model of active consignment and rolling prediction, and implemented a sales management system;at last we examined the reliability and accuracy of our model, pointed out unresolved insufficiency and shortage, proposed some advices for future researches.
