Application Of Data Warehouse Technology In University Enrollment Analysis

In face of rapidly increased magnanimity data memory, Unversity management cries for powerful data analysis tools to transform it into valuable management knowledge. The application of Data Warehouse technology in university management will help the supervisor to make decisions, to make the university more competitive. It makes great contribution for the university to having the initiative in furious university competition.On the basis of summarizing the basic theories and technology methods of Data Warehouse, this paper completely analyse the application lays of Data Warehouse technology in Unversity management which includes Students evaluation Classroom teaching evaluation Intervention of teachers' and students' activities Reasonable courses setup Recruit students and obtaining employment management Department running evaluation system and "Digitalized Campus" network construction. In association with the author' s own working experiences, this paper puts forward Nanjing Institute of Technology students' enrollment analysis system as an example to work in application of Data Warehouse, which contributes to pertinence management subject to theme, and it also helps to maintain the consistence of management, furthermore it greatly decreases data redundancy and data disaccording.
