Digital watermarking technology is very popular in media technology now. Reversible data hiding technique is one of the potential points in digital watermarking. It's widespread used in medicine field, law field and so on. There are no essential difference between digital watermarking technique and reversible data hiding. But the later can rebuild the image after draw out watermarking. The aim of research on algorithm of reversible data hiding based on spatial domain is to get more space to embed more watermarking without disturb the vision.This thesis starts with a review of recent works on information hiding, and then discusses some algorithms of reversible data hiding based on spatial domain. The major research work is summarized below:1) We give a modified algorithm based on a kind of reversible data hiding algorithm. It has high embedding capacity and can prevent over-flows.2) After analysis of image scrambling, we give a new reversible data hiding algorithm based on spatial domain. Binary watermarking is embedded based on the relationship of parity of pixel and parity of location. The result of experiment shows that the algorithm is very simple and it has high embedding capacity and keeps high PSNR at the same time.
