Long-distance Digital Video Monitor Alarm System have more and more applicationin bank financial institutions, airports, stations, residential property management. With theincrease of plunder, especially in the self-help bank, places with no man monitor, KaiyuanCompany decided to develop a Long-distance Video Monitor Alarm System according tothe Kaiyuan's propose and the Beijing Public Security Bureau of Internal ProtectionDepartment approval,.The paper first put the advantage and disadvantage of the network Client/Server modeused usually, give an ideal mode of network Client/Server. Then it presents five Socket I/Omodes of Winsock and the behavior of I/O Completion Port and its advantage in the Serverpart design.The system implements a security communication between server and client by theDiffie-Hellman, Rijndael and Winsock. It first generates a session key between client andserver by the algorithm of Diffie-Hellman, and then uses the session key as key in theRijndael to encrypt blocks of the data transferred.The Long-distance Digital Video Monitor Alarm System is designed for Kaiyuan. I/Ocompletion port is used in the server part design of the system. And implement a C++ classof Server designed by the I/O completion port and a session protocol between server andclient.On the base of analyzing and designing the system, we implement Long-distanceVideo Monitor and Alarm System. After comprehensive test, the system has been put intopractice and improved the efficiency and management level of Kaiyuan Monitor System.The advantage of the advanced infrastructure and specification are revealed sufficiently inthis system.
