With the development of remote sensing technology, the human will observe earth, open up universe from the outer space. So that we can know the soil, explore the resource, research the environment and analyze the varieties of the world. The appearance of processing technology for the hyperspectral remote sensing data image has changed some tradition methods. In this paper, the preprocessing and some methods of objects detection for hyperspectral remote sensing image will be investigated.The concepts of hyperspectral remote sensing and the pattern of hyper-spectral image's characters are introduced;the methods of pretreatment of remote sensing image are summarized firstly, and the components of hyper-spectral images are analyzed. Then causes of aberration for hyper-spectral image from the results of experiments are presented using geometry calibration and radiate calibration. After that, the technique of targets detection for hyper-spectral image is investigated primarily in the thesis. First, methods of target detection for infrared image are presented and the validity of this method is verified theoretically;then a new target detection methodology for hyper-spectral images using the Principal component analysis (PCA) and Independent component analysis (ICA) is proposed based on the spectral features of various materials. It reduces the dimension of original hyper-spectral images and takes the redundancies out for getting the main components of images;at last, a special way is introduced for some hyper-spectral images, which are short of bands. In this way, the targets can be detected by expanding band and orthogonal subspace projecting.
