The Design And Realization Of Military PDA Hardware System Based On XScale PXA255

This dissertation presents a military PDA system. By the requirement of the project,we selected Intel XScale PXA255 Microprocessor after studied many mainstream microprocessors. According to the specification on the design ,we proposeed the desigen scheme and made a prototype. The experiments have shown that it is feasible and works perfectly.Because the ARM family microprocessors are supports by many operating system,so it can be used as general PDA. Furthermore ,it has extensive usage through adding functional module.Comparing with the military PDA in the matket,it has performance and more function.This paper summarizes a series of work in process of developing hardware system of military PDA based on XScale PXA255 microprocessor.
