Study Of CA Certification Center Based On PKI

With the rapid development of computer and internet technology, computer application has become one of the main parts of man's modern life. How to ensure authentication,integrity,confidentiality and non-repudiatin of data in network has become a predominant task in domain of network security. Public Key Infrastructure is an important technology to solve those network security problems. PKI also is a platform of key management, which completely accords with the standard of X.509. It can provide all network applications with the management of keys and certificates transparently, which is necessary for the sevices of cipher, such as encryption and digital signatrue. A credible network computation environment can be set up and maintained conveniently by PKI. In this environment people could confirm their identity and information they changed without face to face. Security problem for computer nerwork is analyzing comprehensively in the first chapter of this article. After that we discuss the actuality of PKI in the world throughly. Then we introduce technical basis and architecture of PKI. A scheme about the design and implementation of CA is given at the end of this article, and we focus on the problem of certificate application and certificate making.
