The Research On Digital Signal Generator Based On ARM And DDS Technology

The intention of this paper is to design a multi-functional data generator whichbased on ARM embedded systems. This equipment is able to generate modulateddata who can change its input data rates,frequency range from 5Mhz to 65Mhz ,etc.It can be widely used in many fields ,including Cable Modem,HFC,WLAN,MMDS and so on . Especially in the network of Cable TV ,it can be used as auploading signal supplier.The design who is based on data-modulated theories takes advantage of the newtechnology and ICs to develope a plan to realize the required functions. Within thesystem, we use AD9853 to get DDS and modulate functions .And the controlpart is fulfilled by the LPC2104 who has an ARM7 core, so it is convenient toexpand other functions. Furthermore , we added a power detecting and controllingcircuit in order to make sure the power of the output signals.Moreover, with some special measures we pay more attention to the security andpracticability of the system on both the hardware and software designs.
