| Most research on the implementation issues of temporal databases hasconcentrated on extending the relational data model to encompass the dimention oftime. However these temporal models problems interacting with the applications, thusa relatively new database model has been a hot spot for researchers.In this thesis, we first introduce the consensus glossary and data models oftemporal database systems. Then we give introduction of the object-oriented databaseconcept and implementation method. At last we expatiated on the design andimplementation process of an object-oriented temporal database model which baseson the Ministry of Education's Human Resource and Salary Information ManagementSystem and put emphasis on the process of object-oriented modeling and thealgorithm of temporal query. All these provide the basic condition of the subsequentdevelopment in real application. |
