Realization Of VoIP QoS

In the technology of VoIP(Voice over IP),because different node produces different QoS, on one IP network, if every retransmit node uses different QoS technology, then the rule of data stream classification and the rule of priority establishment will also be different, so to some application, it will get different quality of service, then, this either waste network resources or cannot let users obtain good quality of service. In order to obtain high effective and uniform QoS technology, and to solve the remain problems in QoS technology, this paper expounds a multifunctional QoS policy controller, it is a calling and exchanging controller which is based on SIP, it sustain SIP(Session Initiation Protocol),it communicates with PSTN network through number 7 signal gateway and media gateway. To the network, it uses uniform rules to mount, exert and manage policies for different equipments provided by enterprises and network providers. So this policy controller can realize unified QoS, and to the first it is to reduce rate of packages desertion and delay in network.
