P2P File Sharing

The demand of communicating anywhere, anytime on any device is growing with the development of modern informationg technology. Current instant messaging services enable people to be aware of each other's presence and to exchange information. However, almost all of these services are based on client/server architecture, If servers crash, all connections are lost. In order to improving the circumstances, peer-to-peer network, each peer plays the role of either client or server. Peer-to-peer network architecture implements transmitting and sharing resources among peers.In these years, the technology of peer-to-peer has become one of the most popular focal topics in internet field, which used to be set out as one of the most affective items by the treasure magazine. Peer-to-peer technology introduces in a new way to organize and discover the resource except for the existent methods, and its most important significance is that the resource discovery lookup depends on the peer to peer of the network fringe crunode rather than the central crunode. Nowadays, the peer-to-peer technology, which owns lots of characteristics such as the uncenteration, extensibility, haleness and high rate of the capability and the price etc, has been used continually in various fields such as the military, business and government information etc.Otherwise, each countries have been putting an strong hand on this project, including the JXTA of SUN Co., the Google searching system of Google Co., the MSN of Microsoft Co.and so on.The peer-to-peer technology should connect the computer to other users for sharing and exchanging the documents, hi addition, peer-to-peer is also useful in deep search, distribution calculation, cooperation work etc. The following is the main work in this thesis:(1) Introducing generally the development level and future of the peer-to-peer technology in national and international.(2) Analysing all kinds of peer-to-peer network models and their advantages and disadvantages.(3) Analysing the disvantages of Gnutella Agreement for finding out the point technology of peer-to-peer.(4) According to the former analysis, the following chapter will introduce mainly the designment and actualization of the peer-to-peer equal document share, including the server, monitor, browser, database etc.
