IP Video Phone transmits the information of video, voice and data over internet. It is an important development direction of the communication technology. SIP is considered to be the standard protocol of network based multimedia communication in the future. It is very convenient to use the soft phone on PC. This Paper describes the design of the soft IP Video Phone Based on SIP.Chapter 1 provides the overview of the Software Designed of the IP Video Phone, and gives the significance of the research work.Chapter 2 introduces the SIP, RTP/RTCP and QoS.Chapter 3 introduces the environment of the software designing and some of the technique to be used.Chapter 4 presents the architecture of the IP Video Phone based on PC, and introduces the function of the modulesChapter 5 focused on the design of the IP Video Phone based on PC. Mostly about the QoS and the capture and play of the video and audio data.Chapter 6 discusses the software test of the IP Video Phone based on PC.include software framework test ;and software function test.Chapter 7 gives the main research conclusion and the prospect the further research work.
