Speech is an important way of human communication, which is increasingly being studied. The research on the mechanism of human sound generation is the basis for the further development of speech technology. This study is widely used in the field of speech recognition, speech synthesis and medical diagnosis, etc. The use of a variety of models to simulate the process of sound plays an important role in the study of the mechanism of phonation.Through the use of the study of vocal fold vibration model, the characteristics of vocal cords can be described, which is helpful to further research and practical application of the human pronunciation. This research is based on the physiological process of speech production, which makes a careful study and simulation of the speech sound model through the analysis of the existing research on speech prononciation model.Firstly, the physiological structure and functional characteristics of each subsystem of the pronunciation system are introduced in detail, and the principle of vocal cord vibration and articulation is introduced in detail. On the basis of this theory, the two mass model of the vocal cords and the multi-channel sound channel model are mathematically analysed and modelled.According to the layered structure of the vocal cords, the excitation source model of double masses is derived. Then,in response to the vocal tract characteristics, the multi-tube vocal tract model is used. Then, the transmission characteristics of the vocal tract are modelled by electroacoustic analogy, and then the propagation characteristics of the whole vocal system model are analysed. On the basis of the two models, computer programming simulation is carried out by Java programming. In the simulation, the model is discretized using the difference equation, and a number of voiced signals are synthesized through the simulation program. The frequency spectrum and time domain waveform of the synthesized voiced signal are obtained, and the formants in frequency domain are also obtained. The validity of the simulation is verified by subjective auditory and objective formants values. On the other hand,a group of pronunciation parameters can also be adapted in the simulation,by which various manners of pronunciation can be effectively simulated.
