The Research Of Home's Intelligent System Based On Linux

In the world, home's intelligence gained more and more people's favor through over ten years' development, but, at present, the home's intelligent system on the market exist many shortages. So, it's the very time to develop a new home's intelligent system.In this paper, through the research of the embedded system's realize theory and methods, and the mechanism of Linux' startup process, memory management, process scheduling, network, designed a home's intelligent system. The system, adopting the Ethernet network as the telecommunication media, exchanged the information inside and outside of the home by the embedded gateway, realized the information's real time, efficient management and distribution, provide intelligent services for modern family life. It include the overall design of the home's intelligent system, the design of the home's inside receive/send controller, the development of the embedded gateway, the development of the part of long distance visit and control, and the development of the safety and control center of the living quarter.In the development of the home's inside receive/send controller, the two level interrupt receive device, which was compose of interrupt controller, was adopted to realize the home's digital signals' collection, the A/D converter was adopted to realize the home's analog signals' collection, the encoder was adopted to realize the home's digital signals' send. In the development of the embedded gateway, Beijing Winsilicon corporation's ARM9 development platform (the CPU is S3C2410) was adopted as the hardware platform, Linux was adopted as the OS. The software design on the embedded gateway was edited in Red Linux9 using vi and compiled by crossing compilation arm-linux-gcc. In the development of the software of the embedded gateway, the character of the Linux as multitasking OS was best used to realize themultitask' run in harmony, What's more, the performance of the Linux' real time was researched and the system's real time was realized. The software design of the part of long distance visit and control, and the software design of the safety and control center of the living quarter was developed in Windows2000 using VC++.Through the design of system's hardware and software, the system realize the function of all kinds of home devices' the intelligent management, long distance control, long distance inquiry, long distance watch, automatic give an alarm and so on.
