As the incessant development of industrial automation and information technology, building unified exoteric communication protocol and network to carry out the amalgamation of control network and information network comes as the urgent problem for Network Control System. Industrial Ethernet network is the effective means to solve this problem with the advantage of applicability, feasibility, technological expansibility and applications, Moreover it becomes the prospect area for Network Control System . Determinacy and Real-time are the key problems for industrial Ethernet network to solve. This thesis investigates the application and optimization of industrial Ethernet network.Firstly, this thesis discusses the communication requirement and communication model. Furthermore, on that basis, this thesis investigates and analyses the reason and resolvent for these key problems according to features of Ethernent, and chooses the full-duplex-switched technology as the application mean.Secondly, traffic smoothing with the basis of token bucket arithmetic is introduced to ensuring the Determinacy and Real-time according to lucubrating and analysis the feature of full-duplex-switched Ethernet. Then the method of performance analyses based on network calculus is introduced.Lastly, to further the improvement of system performance Genetic Algorithm With Elitist strategy (EGA) using the graph partitioning as the model is introduced to design and optimaize network topology. According to the limitations of EGA, a Hybrid Genetic Algorithm based on Schema Preprocessing and Simulated Annealing operation (HGA) is introduced and the performance of Algorithms is effectively improved.
